Scalextric never made a model of the Morris Marina range of cars. This resin body kit is based on the Morris Marina Coupe variant in the range which in the hands of Brian Culcheth came first in class in the 1971 RAC Rally. This fantastic kit is suitable for use as the basis of a unique slot car or as a static 1/32nd scale model. The kit contains the following components:
If this model is to be used on the Scalextric track then it can be fitted to a Scalextric Ford Escort XR3i, Datsun 260Z or MG Maestro chassis fitted with the our Minilite wheels and narrow tyres. Some modification will need to be made to the periphery of the chassis for it to fit the finished body snuggly. The wheelbase and track of the chassis are a good fit to this body.
