Scalextric never made a model of the Ford Anglia 105E range of cars. This resin body kit is based on the Ford Anglia 105E Delux variant in the range. The Ford Anglia 105E was the first British Ford with an OHV engine and 4 speed gearbox. This combination made the Ford Anglia 105E very successful in the motorsport arena with many wins recorded, not least of which was the outright win of the 1966 BRSCC Saloon Car Championship. This fantastic kit is suitable for use as the basis of a unique slot car or as a static 1/32nd scale model. The kit contains the following components:
If this model is to be used on the Scalextric track then it can be fitted to a Scalextric Porsche 911 (934) chassis fitted with the our small wheels and small superslix tyres. Some modification will need to be made to the periphery of the chassis for it to fit the finished body snuggly. The wheelbase and track of the chassis are a good fit to this body.
