When magnets are mounted to the chassis of a Scalextric car they are attracted to the steel guide slot inserts in Scalextric tracks. This calculator gives the equivalent weight as given by the magnetic attraction of various magnets.

To use this calculator simply select the desired magnet from the drop down list and enter the distance in millimeters between the underside of the magnet and the steel guide inserts in the track. Click on 'Calculate' and the equivalent weight is given in grams.
