Red LED kit for illuminated tail lamps

 

This red LED kit is excellent as Scalextric car tail lamps. The LED's emit a moderate brightness red light ideal for the tail lamps of Scalextric cars. These LED's are 12V and can be connected directly to the car motor with no series resistor or other components making the fitting simplicity itself, see the picture above where the LEDs are fitted to a Ford Escort Cosworth.

The LED's can be fitted directly to the Ford Escort Cosworth, Ford RS200 BMW M3 and the Ford Mondeo cars as the car chassis has the correct fittings to accept these LED's. They can also be fitted to almost any Scalextric car, with a little bit of ingenuity.
