This has been found on a model manufactured in 2007 of the McLaren M23 C2800. Clearly the Scalextric model shows "PORD" on the engine covers when this car was powered by the Ford Cosworth DFV 3.0 V8 engine. The Ford Cosworth DFV 3.0 V8 engine had "FORD" printed in white on the engine cover castings.

If you look very carefully this error can even be seen on page 9 of the 2007 Scalextric catalogue.
