The first XR3i model from Scalextric

 

This is the first Ford Escort XR3i model produced by Scalextric. This rare model was only available during 1983. The XR3i is complete including the bumpers, spoiler and wing mirrors. The XR3i is fitted with new pick up braids and motor pinion gear. The XR3i has been track tested and runs extremely well with quiet smooth motor and gears. This is despite the error made by Scalextric when they designed the chassis of the XR3i, an error quickly corrected for 1984.

The window and interior mouldings are complete and have no cracks or other damage, the driver is still fitted. The rear spoiler, front bumper and rear bumper are present with no visible damage. The tyres are in good, grippy condition with no cracks or other damage.

This Scalextric Ford Escort XR3i car is wonderful to race and would add value to any collection.
