Famous classic Formula 1 model

 

The Renault Elf RS-01 was (at the time) unique in Formula One racing in that it was the only car to be powered by a turbo-charged 1,500c.c. engine which gives the advantage of lower fuel consumption. Totally different driving skills are required in the turbo driven car. This Renault model was new to the Scalextric range in 1979.

Thoroughly cleaned and serviced the car is fitted with new pick up braids and motor pinion gear. This car has been track tested and runs extremely well with quiet smooth motor and gears. The front and rear wing mouldings are complete. The tyres are in good, grippy condition with no cracks or other damage.

The body has no scratches and the factory applied printing is like new.
