C052 Ford Escort Mk1 RS 1600

This lovely early example is complete and comes with both bumpers intact.

This Scalextric model Escort is the Mexico version which had bubble arches and carried a 1598cc engine producing 98 bhp. The Ford Escort was an extremely successful rally car of its day winning the RAC rally every year from 1971 to 1978.

Thoroughly cleaned and serviced this Escort is fitted with new pick up braids, motor pinion gear and rear tyres. The Escort has been track tested and runs extremely well with quiet smooth motor and gears. This example is in lovely condition with all the parts present and correct. There is not a single scratch on the body and we have fitted our decal set to make this car look stunning. The tyres are in good condition with no cracks or other damage.

This wonderful model is a must for any serious collector. This car is ready to display or race and would add value to any collection.
